What if you could hear the music underneath it all? Alter Echoes is a sound-based experimental project. We put sensitive microphones around the room and took in the sound from Rebecca and Sadie, applied values to the data and put it through filters. We then fed back this organic music to the girls through the headphones. The sound you hear in the scene is what they were hearing themselves. They found themselves swimming through different realities and playing each other as instruments.
